Marc Anton, Jr., Principal

Marc founded MarinaSales after several years as a principal and marine business specialist at Richard A. Mathurin and Associates, LLC, a longstanding mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. Marc is recognized for his expertise in the marine industry, and he has advised in the merger or sale of several of its prominent businesses and properties. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine.

Jed Harris, Principal

Jed joined MarinaSales bringing a background in finance and commercial real estate. He started his career as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and then moved on to be a principal investor with a prominent venture capital firm. He relocated to Maine in 2004 and opened his own real estate investment firm that owned and managed a portfolio of commercial property. Jed has experience with structuring transactions, financial analysis, and a lifelong passion for the water. He is a graduate of Middlebury College. He lives with his family in Falmouth, Maine.

Karen Calvacca, Principal

Karen entered the commercial real estate field after selling a boutique inn that she owned and operated on Cape Cod. Her work for the past 12 years has focused on marina and resort properties, representing both sellers and buyers nationally and internationally. Karen follows trends in the marina industry, which enables her to provide the highest level of service to clients. She has brokered many marina and resort deals, providing first-class investments to buyers and supplying well-qualified buyers to sellers. She is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and Florida.

Douglas Averill, Senior Financial Analyst

Prior to joining the firm, Doug had jobs of increasing responsibility in building project management. Most recently he was the Service and Modernization Manager for a division of United Technologies Corporation. Doug has a B.S, Biology from Dickinson College and a M.B.A. from Babson College. Doug grew up teaching sailing on Lake Ontario and now enjoys boating with his family near their home in Hallowell, Maine.
